The bankroll they thought would be necessary for the bigger game may prove insufficient. The skills they developed to beat the players at $1/$2 may not work as well for them in the $2/$5 game. Unfortunately, many players soon discover this progression isn't quite as simple as they thought. The theory is that if you're a winning player at $1/$2 no-limit, for example, you could win even more if you played winning poker at the $2/$5 level.
